Dan Boisits

In the 90’s Dan was introduced to both bodywork and Yoga.  It set his course both personally – in terms of what he seeks to pursue and allow into his life –  and professionally – becoming an energy and bodyworker. He believes each of us have a great purpose for being, and the closer we each get to our personal essential purpose, the more our collective evolves.

However, there are obstacles.  As a bodyworker it’s no surprise to him that pain is often a human’s greatest challenge, and it comes in many forms; emotional, physical, mental, and again it’s often interconnected.  It is with this understanding that Dan approaches his clients with the goal of guiding them out of pain. From slow deep reorganizing of the body to powerfully light touch Dan uses a wide range of tools to bring awareness, change, and relief to those who are experiencing pain.  Relief from pain is a strong initial step toward feeling lighter, freer, more energetic, and can lead to a path of living harmoniously in the world.

Appreciating that the quest for harmony and equanimity within is a process together with the understanding that everything is connected, it has now come time to share the insights of his journey with others who long to discover for themselves a more peaceful way of being in the world.

Together with his wife Jody, he wishes to share the harmony and equanimity that comes from mindfulness practices including, yoga asana, group chanting/singing, quiet/noble silence, being in nature, being in community, contemplation and introspection, eating with awareness, and good rest.

Truly masterful teachers Dan has studied with include Marc Manton, Bob Schrei, and Hugh Milne.  Also trained in Yoga by Jimmy Barkan, but more importantly deeply influenced by Jody (his Wife), who is a Yoga Teacher Trainer with thousands of hours of comprehensive study in Alignment based yoga, Yin Yoga, Philosophy of Yoga, and much more.
